The product was created as a substitute for natural pollen, guaranteeing the proper development of colonies regardless of weather conditions. It is a complex product, the main advantage of which are perfectly balanced and adapted to the needs of bees. It protects the intestinal microflora and increases food absorption. It contains ingredients easily assimilated by bees. It promotes the rapid growth of bee colonies by providing the ingredients needed by larvae and young bees.
Contains: soybean and yeast protein (51% protein), vitamins: B1, B2, B6, B12, PP, C, A, D3, E; mineral complex: Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Co, P; citric acid, vegetable fats, plant essential oils, probiotic bacteria, antioxidants.
1) in dry state (as a special food to replace pollen):
Place the product in a container with holes to allow access to bees, provided with several pieces of wood or anti-slip material (e.g. in a feeder). Give about 700g of product per colony (depending on the strength of the colony) protecting the product from wind and moisture.
2) as a substitute mixture of carbohydrates:
Doughs: Mix 200 g of Apikand - a pollen substitute with 800 g of carbohydrates (different combinations of honey, syrup or sugar) at temperatures up to 40°C. Apply the obtained mixture (of paste consistency) in plastic bags or waxed paper sheets on the upper edges of the frames.
Syrup: Mix 100 g of Apikand product - pollen substitute from 1 l of syrup (e.g. Apikand pubudzenia) or sugar syrup, serve in a feeder.
Note: Do not leave it in the hive when there is no brood.
